Y6OL had a beautiful day last week, exploring and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
It was humbling to see the mature and honest approach the children had to discussing and exploring mental health themes – they are a credit to themselves and their families.
As part of the day we:
- Discussed some key elements of mental health and support available
- Explored coping strategies for mental health through mindfulness activities
- Created positivity pebbles to bring home, and hid some around our school grounds
- Enjoyed time connecting with nature in the wild area
An amazing day all round!
