Last week, the KS1 children went for a walk to the woods. They looked at seasonal changes and features of the local area, linking to their Geography and Science work. The children also had time to explore the woodland environment using their senses, which will feed into their writing. They then discussed fairytales that they know are set in the woods.
Everyone had a wonderful time, well done KS1!
