Last week, we enjoyed a great assembly where we were visited by James Beighton, Development Manager at Skills Street. Skills Street is an immersive and innovative careers training experience, developed to inspire and inform children, young people and adults across South Yorkshire.
Based on the site at Gulliver’s Valley, we hope to work closely with Skills Street in the future, and our KS1 children have already enjoyed a preview with an in-school construction based workshop this week. James spoke to the children about the exciting new project, due to open in February 2025, with wonderful links to our Aston Hall Way and how the experience can inspire and influence them in the future.
The children showed a lot of interest, and behaved fantastically, well done everyone!
