Last week, 20 of our Y5 & 6 children represented Rotherham at the South Yorkshire Sports Hall Athletics finals.
After we finished 2nd out of 30 schools at the Rotherham finals, the children went to EIS Sheffield where they went up against the best schools from Sheffield, Doncaster and Barnsley.
The children did amazingly well and worked together so hard as a team to finish 6th overall out of all schools in South Yorkshire. The icing on the cake was after finishing 2nd in the Rotherham finals, we were the 1st placed Rotherham team at these finals.
It was a pleasure to take the children with Miss Davenport and they represented our school brilliantly throughout. Thank you to the parents/carers that also came along to support.
