Aston Hall Tree Planting! 🌳

Aston Hall Eco Councillors, and many of their grown ups from home, had a great time planting a variety of brand new trees around our school field this week.
 
The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) has offered free trees to schools and communities in Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, and Rotherham. Supporting the South Yorkshire Mayor’s pledge to plant 1.4 million trees across the region: https://www.tcv.org.uk/symca-free-trees/ 
 
It was a bit wet but the rain didn’t dampen our spirits and we all enjoyed some outdoor time doing something great for our environment together before drying off with a warm drink and a biscuit!
