Last week, some of our Y5 & 6 boys represented our school at the U11 South Yorkshire Hockey Finals, held at Hill House school in Doncaster.
A huge well done to the Y5&6 boys who represented our school so brilliantly.
Against very tough opposition after progressing from the Rotherham finals, the boys worked together amazingly all afternoon. They showed great resilience, determination, sportsmanship and teamwork.
With a bit of luck, the result would have been even better if a few things had gone their way, showing great perseverance with a 2-0 win in their final game over one of the top teams that qualified for the regional finals.
Finishing 4th place in South Yorkshire, they should be immensely proud of themselves.
Thank you to the parents / carers who came along to cheer and support throughout, it was very much appreciated.
