Each year, Christmas time is a key time for us to give to and support others who are in need. Our Aston Hall school community certainly know how to do that, and came out in force again this year to raise money for a range of local, national and global charities.
- Our Christmas fayre raised over £1400 for school funds
- Our Santa dash raised an incredible £926 to support our Sheffield Children’s Hospital snowflake, Rotherham Hospice and Save the children
- Programmes sales at our EYFS and KS1 nativity shows raised £180 for the Tiny Toes Appeal at Rotherham Hospital
- Donations on ‘No pens day’ raised £128 for Speech & Language UK
- The annual Chocolate tree raffle raised £60 for Maltby & Rother Valley Lions
As well as these Christmas fundraising events, during the Autumn term we also raised the RBL Poppy Appeal (£243 raised), Jeans for Genes (£355), Children in Need (£304) and our Macmillan Biggest Coffee morning (£220)
This totals an amazing £3816 raised since September for 10 amazing charities as well as school fund. This is just AMAZING, thank you so much to all of our school community.
