Year 5 and 6 have been learning about WWII and we were lucky enough to be able to welcome visitors into school today from the National Holocaust centre.
We all took part in an interesting and informative workshop where we learnt all about a boy called Leo, his journey leading up to the war how he and his family were treated just because of their religion.
We also looked at artefacts and different primary/ secondary sources and used these to find more information about Germany at that time. The children were fantastically engaged, learnt lots and asked lots of great questions- well done everyone!
Thank you so much Holocaust Centre UK!
