Over the last few weeks in Geography Y2GD have been looking at the question “Does everyone in Rotherham live in the same type of houses?” We decided as Geographers to complete a fieldwork study to help us to answer the question.
We looked at different housing types and talked about the houses we live in and our family live in. We then completed some fieldwork by exploring the housing types we could see from school and by using google earth and street view.
After we had completed our fieldwork we then looked at how to represent our data and what the results showed. We then used the information to draw our own conclusions and answer the question we had been focusing on, using evidence to back up our answers.
