All children in UKS2 had an interesting start to this year when there were ‘evacuated’! They were all greeted by the billeting officer, split into different groups and then took part in different activities outside.
This experience helped everyone to understand what it was like for the main character in our novel ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’ and they used their thoughts and feeling from this session to help them to write diary in character.
