ASTON HALL SCHOOL COMMUNITY CHEER ON THE STEELERS AT THE SHEFFIELD ARENA
On Saturday 29th November, over 220 pupils, parents, and staff from Aston Hall came together for another school community event, this time at the Sheffield Arena for Ice Hockey to see the Sheffield Steelers take on arch-rivals the Nottingham Panthers.
Everyone enjoyed an evening of family entertainment, with dancing and cheering during a very exciting game. After a tight game, it went to overtime and then a penalty shootout, with the Steelers finishing victorious during sudden death.
Aston Hall would like to thank the Steelers for welcoming us to the game, offering a special discounted rate so all could enjoy the experience, including free tickets for all children. We were very excited to see our school name shown throughout the game on the big screens, welcoming us to the Arena, and are looking forward to going again as a school community.
