Whether you’re an experienced photographer or a keen beginner, you’ve entered before or you’re not sure where to start, you’re in the right place!
The aim of our RSPCA Young Photographer Awards is to encourage an interest in photography and an appreciation and understanding of all the amazing animals around us. It’s open to anyone aged 18 or under and all we want is for you to enjoy the process and get creative. Every year we’re blown away by the incredible images you send in!

Having taken a photography training programme with Heather Irwin from Rawmarsh comprehensive school and seeing the amazing outcomes – I know the children of Aston could blow this competition out of the water!

The prizes
Take a look at what you could win in the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards 2022.
Overall winner
The overall winner will receive a weekend photography break, Deer Rut Special UK, with award-winning wildlife photographer Danny Green’s team at Natures Images.
Worth £675, this fabulous prize includes two nights’ accommodation with a parent or guardian. The overall winner will also receive an RSPCA Young Photographer Awards trophy.
Under 12 Years category
The winner will receive £200 worth of vouchers from Amazon.co.uk, an exclusive photoshoot at one of our animal centres, and an RSPCA Young Photographer Awards trophy plus a Camtraptions PIR Motion Sensor and Camera Connecting Cable.
Runners-up will receive a certificate from the NSPCA.
The school winner and runner up with receive a prize too!
