Staff and Students Attend Historic Women’s Super League Game at Old Trafford

On Sunday 27th March, some pupils, parents and staff from Aston Hall celebrated Mother’s Day at the Theatre Of Dreams, Old Trafford, to watch Manchester United Women vs Everton Women.

This was a historic game as it was the first Women’s Super League game where Man Utd Women played at their home stadium in front of over 20,000 fans.

Millie, along with other students and staff had a great time after the school received 30 free tickets to the game. She even managed to high five some of the players after the game and hasn’t stopped talking about it since.

Aston Hall also has 60 tickets to see some of the Women’s Euro 2022 games at the New York Stadium and Bramall Lane in the summer, with Millie hoping she will be able to attend one of these games too.

As a school, we are proud to be able to promote equality in sport and raise awareness and aspirations for all, inspiring the next generation of lionesses.
