FS2 had a brilliant experience yesterday boarding The Polar Express to the North Pole.
The children received a ticket under their pillow in the morning with a letter explaining they could wear their pyjamas to school, and were going to board the train at School and watch the film.
Once at school with their ticket, they were met by a train conductor. “ALL ABOARD” he shouted and the children had to line up to get their ticket checked and to board the train. They then started to watch the film with their friends.
Half way through the film we had a pit stop, drank hot chocolate and enjoyed a biscuit. The children thoroughly enjoyed the film and the treats.
They talked about the different characters, what happens at their house on christmas eve and their favourite part of the film!
It definitely got us into the Christmas spirit.
