The event will begin at 4pm on the KS1 yard where we will gather for hot chocolate and mince pies, before beginning with singing a few of our favourite Christmas carols outside school on Church Lane. We will then proceed to two other locations, the grass verge on All Saints way at approximately 4:30pm and the bottom of Thoresby Close at 4:40pm, to sing more carols, before finishing with our final songs and a short Christmas service at Aston All Saints Church, delivered by Father Ian Jennings.
Carols in the Community has been really successful in the past and a great opportunity to come together as a school at a special time of year; we hope to raise even more awareness of the event this year by designing and delivering posters to local residents so that they can share in the moment, and hopefully bring a real community feel to the evening.
