Y5/6 Martial Arts
Y6 took part in a fantastic martial arts workshop last week with Craig from Premier Martial Arts in Brinsworth. They learnt a range of skills and self-defense strategies as well as the 3 core principles of black belts: Self control, Focus and Respect.
Whitby Trip
Last week both Y5 and Y6 visited Whitby for residential and what an adventure in learning was had! From Dracula’s lair, ghost walks, fossil hunting, and ice cream to the 199 steps to the magnificent Abbey! The children’s smiles beamed with enjoyment and success – an amazing experience for all.
Y6 Budding Scientists
Our Y6 scientists have been incredible during Science Week! Here they are carrying out our investigation to ‘DITCH THE DIRT’ carrying out experiments and observations in order to conclude how we can ensure everyone has access to safe, clean water.
Hunger Games!
Phenomenal Hunger Games Day in Y5 and Y6! The effort and consideration given to costumes and strategy were second to none! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute, and it was great to see the tactics unfold! It was also brilliant to take this experience back into the classroom in our literacy session!
