Light Investigations π‘π
In Science, Y3 have started learning about Light. They have investigated how we see and what darkness is. Children tried to identify which objects were in the boxes with varying amounts of light coming in, and they also went into a completely dark space to see if their eyes adjusted to the darkness. π‘π¦π―οΈ
Number Lines in Maths
In Maths, Y3PB have been working on how to find the duration of events using a number line. The class loved being able to record, mark and edit their work on the tables!
Year 5 Bikeability π²
Wow! All Y5 children have taken part in Bikeability cycle training, and they have all achieved the level 1 or level 2 award. π² π₯ They have shown great perseverance, enthusiasm, and a deep understanding of road safety. We are all really proud of them! πππ»
KS1 Visit the Deep
The KS1 classes had a wonderful time visiting The Deep this week. They saw lots of sea life including fish, sea turtles, jelly fish, penguins, shrimps and even sharks! π¦π§π The children also enjoyed an engaging and interactive workshop where they learnt about how to protect our marine life from plastic pollution.

Last week, 20 of our Y5 & 6 children represented Rotherham at the South Yorkshire Sports Hall Athletics finals.
