Aston Hall English Careers Month
We’ve had a busy careers month for English this September. KS1 and LKS2 pupils enjoyed live zoom sessions with author Swapna Haddow earlier this week. KS1 pupils joined in with drawing the bear from My Dad is a Grizzly Bear. LKS2 pupils engaged in a story planning session with the author linked to the Dave the Pigeon series.

This week, we had an online meeting with Swapna Haddow, author of the Dave Pigeon and Bad Panda books. She shared some of her stories with us, tips for writing and how to plan our own stories using 3 objects found around the classroom.

Year 5/6 Online Author Event
Year 5 and 6 were lucky enough to meet the author Annelise Gray via video chat last week. We really enjoyed learning about her novels and how her interest in history and horses has inspired her stories.

Rotherham Schools Inclusive Cross Country Event
