Year 5 Study L. S. Lowry

Fantastic Football Result!

This week our U9’s boys football team took part in a Rotherham Schools tournament held at Bramley Sunnyside Junior School. They did fantastically well and played with such teamwork and enthusiasm, so much so that they ended up winning the tournament! Well done boys, you should be extremely proud! 👏 🏆 đŸ„‡

Y1/2 Make Their Own Oat Bars

Y1/2MH had a D&T day where we designed and made our own oat bars. We then evaluated them and said how we would make them better next time.  They kids had a great time making them and then eating them. The adjectives they used to describe how they tasted included tasty, sticky, yummy and fruity! 

A Busy Half Term for Sports

Aston Hall has had a busy half term this half term competing at many Rotherham School Games events and other sporting events too.  We’ve seen some great teamwork, attitude and sporting ability. Coffee & Cake for Comic Relief

On Friday 17th March, Aston Hall J&I held a coffee and cake morning as well as a non-uniform day to raise money for Comic Relief. Together our school community raised a fantastic ÂŁ376 for this great charity. đŸ€© Well done everyone! 

Letter Writing with Year 1 ✏

Year 1 have written some fantastic letters! We have been loving our novel study text ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’.   We took inspiration from this and wrote some hilarious letters from our possessions like the ones the crayons wrote to Duncan in the book. Well done Y1! 👏
