Our youngest children have created a giant farmer in our woodland area! What wonderfully creative use of materials that we found around us!
Recently our pupils took part in the national Mile a Day challenge. The Challenge involved Over 1780 schools – with more than half a million children taking part!
All our pupils managed to complete the mile. Before pupils took part we discussed the benefits of regular physical activity and how it can improve our physical and mental health. Pupils loved taking part and during discussions, they reflected on the benefits that the daily mile had and would love to continue this in the future.
Pupils designed their very own colorful ‘Race Badges’ with a sentence about why they do the mile a day.
Felicity in FS2 wrote “I do my daily mile because I like to keep healthy”
Oliver in Y4 wrote ” I do my daily mile to relax in class”
Well Done to all pupils that took part.!
Great work from our Y4 children investigating shadows this week!
